| We started with purebred Cormo, which are normally white. We added a half Cormo colored ewe, "Onyx" seen below. We bred Onyx with our white Cormo ram, "Max" and had two lovely colored twin lambs her first year at our farm. We are waiting for Onyx (our Mocha colored 1/2 cormo ewe), to give birth, her lambs may be dark again. Update! Onyx had a white ewe lamb! This past fall, in 2008 we bred our white Cormo ewe, "Flower" to Onyx's Colored Cormo Ram "Espresso". She gave us a beautiful black little ewe, who will likely lighten to some degree! |
